To ensure that all school groups are able to make the most of their museum visit, we require all school groups to book in with us. Your full day self-led visit includes:
To ensure that all school groups are able to make the most of their museum visit, we require all school groups to book in with us. Your full day self-led visit includes:
- A set timetable to explore the galleries
- Coat and lunch storage
- A reserved 30 minute lunch slot in our picnic area
- Hazard and Risk Assessment documents
We offer 3 different timetables, each tailored to give you time to explore a range of galleries throughout the day. Each timetable can accommodate 1 class (maximum 35 pupils).
Timetable 1: Ancient Egypt & Archaeology Focus
Arrive 10am / Depart 2pm:
- 10.00 - 11.00 Human History Zone (Archaeology, Egypt & Sudan, Collections Reimagined Gallery)
- 11.00 - 12.00 We Belong Zone (Belonging, Chinese Culture Gallery, South Asia Gallery)
- 12.00 - 12.30 Lunch in the Picnic Area
- 12.30 - 13.00 Natures Library Gallery and Vivarium
- 13.00 - 13.30 Living Worlds Gallery
- 13.30 - 14 :00 Fossils Zone (Dinosaurs, Fossils Gallery)
