Collection: KS2 Natural History Workshop
Using our taxidermy handling collection this 90 minute interactive workshop will challenge children to answer the question: Which is most importance specimen in Manchester Museum? Pupils will explore different ways of classifying and grouping creatures from around the world, including both scientific and alternative perspectives.
Your visit includes:
- 90 minute facilitated workshop including object handling and time on Living Worlds Gallery
- A set timetable to explore the galleries for the rest of your trip, including live animals in the Vivarium
- Coat and lunch storage
- A reserved 30 minute lunch slot
- Hazard and Risk Assessment documents
Each workshop can accommodate 1 class (maximum 35 pupils). Cost per class £150.
